Tributary
Water or other liquid entering a reservoir, treatment plant, or treatment process.
Waste water
Water that has been used by a community or industry and that contains dissolved or suspended organic or inorganic material.
Domestic wastewater
Water of domestic, commercial and institutional origin that contains physiological and other wastes from human activity.
municipal wastewater
They are domestic wastewater. The mixture of domestic wastewater with storm drainage water or with wastewater of industrial origin can be included under this definition, provided that these meet the requirements to be admitted into combined sewage systems.
Sewerage
It is called alcantarillado (from sewer "Alcantarilla (construction)"), diminutive of the Spanish-Arabic word al-qánṭara (القنطرة), «the little bridge») or also sewer network, sanitation network or drainage network to the system of structures and pipes used for the collection and transport of waste and rainwater of a population from the place in which they are generated to the place where they are discharged into the natural environment or treated.
