Urban macro project
Introduction
Maiporé is a neighborhood constituted as a housing macroproject in the municipality of Soacha (Cundinamarca), belonging to Commune 1 of Share.
History
The name of the neighborhood comes from Muisca, which means "Welcome."
The land of the current neighborhood belonged to the Hacienda El Vínculo, which was built during the Spanish era and later used for agricultural and livestock use.[1] In 2010, the Colsubsidio Family Compensation fund acquired the land to build the residential complexes of the current neighborhood, of which the first stage has been built with Ambalema, Barichara and Mompós, in honor of the emblematic cities of Tolima, Santander and Bolívar. respectively.[2] The construction was carried out by Constructora Fernando Mazuera.[3].
Once the aforementioned complexes were completed, a wave of popular discontent subsequently arose due to the lack of water service,[4][5] despite the construction of private infrastructure for the vital liquid; A situation that was not solved with the supply by tank truck, so they were connected to the Santa Ana Aqueduct and Sewer Company, through a 6-inch pipe, where the project receives water in block with a duration of 2 to 5 hours per day. The private internal teams of the groups convert the water in bulk to a continuous supply, as long as there is electricity.[6] As of March 16, 2016, this project presents three popular actions, two of them claiming that this project was built within the El Vínculo wetland, which had three bodies of water recognized as wetlands located, of which only one remains, which was reshaped.
Later, the Ocaña I and II complexes were added, the name by which the municipality "Ocaña (Norte de Santander)") of Norte de Santander is honored.
