Urban Expanded Field Plan
Introduction
The Expanded Center of Bogotá (CEB) is a concept defined by the Mayor's Office of Bogotá, which is based on the need to improve urban planning in the areas that are being established as members of the city center.
During the course of the century (especially the second half), the constant growth of the city and the strong variations in housing levels in the city center, due to problems of crime and urban deterioration; Commercial and residential activities were moving to other sectors further north.
These new booming sectors are the business "centers" of Avenida Chile "Avenida Chile (Bogotá)") (the 80s), Calle 100 (the 90s) and Santa Bárbara (Calle 116) and Ciudad Salitre, (these two during the 90s and early 2000s), in addition to retail commercial activities emigrating to sectors such as Ferias, Siete de Agosto, Suba, Kennedy "Kennedy (Bogotá)") and Chapinero, although the majority are still concentrated in the San Victorino sector (framed within the commercial axis of Avenida Jiménez).
Due to the integration of these sectors, the need to create mobility and urban planning plans that covered these sectors was considered.

Within the definition of the CEB that gained popularity as a result of the studies for the Integrated Public Transport System (SITP), the sectors are within the following limits:
