UNE-EN 1997 Standard
Introduction
The European Standards (acronym EN, from the German name Europäische Norm ("European Standard"))[1][2] are technical standards "Norm (technology)") written and maintained by CEN (European Committee for Standardization), CENELEC (European Committee for Electrotechnical Standardization) and ETSI (European Telecommunications Standards Institute).
EN 10000–10999
This range includes almost exclusively CEN Standards related to iron and steel.
EN 12080, Railway applications — Axleboxes — Rolling bearings.
EN 60000-69999 (CEN editions of IEC standards)
In addition, there are many ISO and IEC standards that were accepted as "European standard" (headed as EN ISO xxxxx) and are valid in the European economic region.
