Transversal project
Introduction
The Transversal de Boyacá is a corridor of National Route 60 "National Route 60 (Colombia)"), belonging to the National Road Network of Colombia and designed to connect the Magdalena Medio region of the country with the Orinoquía, between the Boyacá towns of Puerto Boyacá and Páez "Páez (Boyacá)"). It is 379.88 km long and is currently the subject of investment by the government in order to make the purpose of the project a reality.[1].
This road connects important intermediate cities such as Chiquinquirá and Miraflores "Miraflores (Boyacá)") with the city of Tunja, the capital of the department of Boyacá.
