Tipper dumpers
Definition
Basic concept of tipper dumpers
Tipper dumpers are vehicles or containers specifically designed to transport and unload bulk materials using a tipping system. Their main feature lies in the ability to tilt their box or container towards one or more sides, facilitating the quick and efficient unloading of the contents without the need for direct manual intervention.
These equipment are widely used in construction, mining, agriculture and waste management, due to their versatility to handle varied materials, from earth, sand and gravel to rubble or industrial waste. The functionality of the tilting mechanism allows you to optimize times and reduce efforts during the unloading operation.
Types of tipping dumpers
Single tipping axle tippers
This type of dump truck has a single pivot point that allows the box to tilt backwards, facilitating the unloading of the material to only one side, generally the rear. They are the most common and adapt to a wide variety of uses in construction and transportation.
Its simple design contributes to lower manufacturing and maintenance costs, although it limits versatility in small spaces or when unloading is required on sides other than the rear.
Double tipping axle dumpers
These tippers have two pivot points that allow lateral tilting to both sides of the vehicle. This feature is especially useful in environments where unloading must be carried out at different points without the need for extensive maneuvering.
Although their mechanical complexity and cost are greater than those of a single axle, they offer greater operational flexibility and efficiency in certain jobs, such as in urban construction or areas with limited space.
