Introduction
The Community of intercommunal communes for the development of the region and agglomerations of Loudéac (Communauté intercommunale pour le développement de la region et des agglomérations de Loudéac, CIDERAL in French), is a French intercommunal structure located in the French department of Côtes-d'Armor in the Brittany region.
History
It was created in 1990, with the name SIDERAL Union, with the union of twenty-two communes.
On January 1, 1994 it changed to its current name.
On January 1, 2014, the five communes of the community of communes of the Pays de Corlay (Corlay, Le Haut-Corlay, Plussulien, Saint-Martin-des-Prés and Saint-Mayeux), the three communes of the community of communes of the Pays de Uzel-près-l'Oust" (Allineuc, Saint-Hervé and Uzel-près-l'Oust), three of the five communes of the community of communes Guerlédan Mûr-de-Bretagne") (Caurel, Saint-Gilles-Vieux-Marché and Saint-Guen) and the commune of Langast, which previously belonged to the community of communes of the Pays de Moncontour.
These communes are the nine communes of the former canton of La Chèze, the seven communes of the former canton of Uzel, the six communes of the former canton of Loudéac, the five communes of the former canton of Corlay, three of the five communes of the former canton of Mûr-de-Bretagne and two of the five communes of the former canton of Plouguenast; and which currently form part of twenty-two communes of the new canton of Mûr-de-Bretagne") and eleven communes of the new canton of Loudéac").
Name
It owes its name to the fact that the thirty-three communes are located in the area of influence of the commune that gives it its name.

The community is a public body of intercommunal cooperation.
Its resources come from the single labor income tax, the contribution system applied to waste and allocations and subsidies from various partners.
