Terraced house
Introduction
In English, the terms terrace(d) house and row house are used, in architecture and urban planning, to designate a type of houses that could be called single-family semi-detached homes, although there are houses with two or more apartments, one per floor. Typically, these are two-story homes, composed of a ground floor, which houses the living room, dining room, kitchen, common areas, and an upper floor, which includes the bedrooms. They originated at the end of the century, and in it a group of identical houses share their external walls. The first and last house in each row is called end terrace, generally larger than those in the middle.
