Introduction
The construction administrator is the person who performs administrative and economic control functions in companies in the construction sector, and more specifically in one or more works that a construction company is carrying out.
The purpose of the construction administrator is to carry out management and administrative control on the construction site, in accordance with the procedures established by the construction company for which he works.
Functions of the construction administrator
The main function of the construction administrator is to carry out economic control of the work or group of works to which he is assigned. To do this, you must strictly and exhaustively monitor the income and all the costs that the work generates.
Monitoring income involves reviewing all the relevant information and documentation of the amounts to be collected and preparing the invoices to be delivered to the client.
Controlling construction costs involves managing and supervising[1] to a greater or lesser extent the following areas of the work:

Hierarchical dependency of the Construction Administrator
The activity of the construction administrator usually depends on a double hierarchical chain: on the one hand, the construction administrator functionally depends on the construction manager to which he is assigned, having to carry out the support activities required by him for the monitoring and correct functioning of the work. On the other hand, it depends organically on the Administration Department of the construction company, and has to ensure that all the company's management and administrative control processes and procedures are applied and respected on the construction site.
