Supplier Registration
Introduction
A supplier is a company or natural person that provides goods or services to other people or companies.
Due to their function, there are 3 types of suppliers for companies:
goods supplier
Company or person, which refers to the internationalization or development of a product, which has an economic cost in the market, likewise, suppliers of goods have the main characteristic of satisfying a real need of the market or a company.
Service provider
Company or natural person, whose activity seeks to respond to the needs of the client, which due to its main service characteristic is intangible, that is, it cannot be touched, but the service is also supported by tangible goods to achieve said activity. Example of service providers: Telephone companies, internet companies, transportation of goods and personnel, public and state services such as electricity, water, as well as entertainment, television, maintenance and other services.
It is of vital importance for companies to establish commercial relationships with this type of suppliers since an adequate selection of these will mean a benefit in the functioning and operation of the company.
Resource Provider
Company or natural person, whose purpose is to satisfy the needs of the company for economic resources. Such as credits, capital for the company, partners, etc.
Examples of resource providers are: Banks, lenders, government, capitalist partners, etc.
Wholesaler
A wholesaler purchases products from manufacturers and resells them to retailers, distributors and other customers.[1][2] They are an important intermediary in the supply chain, offering competitive prices and convenient purchasing options.[3].
In the United States, a wholesaler can be an individual or a company.[4][5] If a small business or large organization wants to resell a product, a supplier-to-supplier relationship must exist. Registering a supplier involves several steps in the process, such as filling out a credit application, registering the company's credit card for payment, providing your company's phone number, and establishing payment conditions.[6].
