Activities
Actions (and means) that will be carried out/provided to produce the results. Summarize what the project will perform.
Strategy analysis
Critical appreciation of the different alternatives to achieve objectives, and selection of one or more of them to include in the proposed project.
Goal Analysis
Identification and verification of the desired future benefits to which beneficiaries give priority. The product of the objective analysis is the
tree or hierarchy of objectives.
Stakeholder analysis
It involves the identification of all groups likely to be affected (positively or negatively) by the proposed intervention, the identification and analysis of interests, problems, potential, etc. The conclusions of the analysis are then integrated into the project design.
Problem analysis
Structured investigation of the negative aspects of a situation to establish its causes and effects.
SWOT Analysis
Analysis of an organization in terms of Strengths and Weaknesses, and Opportunities and Threats of the project. An instrument that can be used
in each phase of the project cycle.
Analysis by gender
The policy of the EU[1] and other multilateral funders on gender in the field of development cooperation stipulates that gender analysis must be integrated throughout the project cycle at all levels (macro, meso, and micro). Analysis by gender makes it possible to identify and integrate the mechanisms of evolution of a precise situation. It also facilitates the monitoring of its evolution, particularly in terms of disparities between women and men. A gender analysis focuses on the different roles (production, reproduction, decision-making) of women and men; differential access to and control of resources and their specific needs, interests and problems; and impediments to the full and equitable participation of women and men in project activities and to equality between women and men with respect to the benefits achieved.
