Spatial justice urbanism
Introduction
Javiera Pavez (Concepción "Concepción (Chile)"), April 16, 1993) is a Chilean architect, researcher, university professor and activist for women's rights. She is an expert in urban governance), spatial justice, popular habitat and feminist urbanism.[1] She is currently an academic at the Faculty of Education and Humanities of the University of Bío-Bío.[2].
Biography
He was born in 1993 in Concepción, where he completed part of his primary education, while he completed his secondary studies in Chiguayante. In 2021, she graduated as an architect from the University of Bío-Bío and later completed a master's degree in Housing Management and Development at the National University of Córdoba, where she focused her studies on topics surrounding women's right to the city.

He has participated in different forums, seminars, congresses, territorial assemblies and investigations. [3][4]She was the creator of the Gender and Territory Workshop, the first of its kind at the University of Bío-Bío, where the understanding of urban space is addressed from feminist epistemologies.[2].
Investigation
She is recognized as one of the Chilean researchers who addresses urban studies from a feminist perspective. Her research area has focused on dissemination and awareness about women's perception of safety in public spaces, territorial disputes around housing and the city from the perspective of women in Chile.[5].
