Procedure control
Introduction
Instrumentation and process control is a specialty of Systems engineering that combines, in turn, different branches, among which: control systems, automation, electronics and computing. Its main application and purpose is the analysis, design and automation of manufacturing processes in most industrial areas: oil and gas), electric power generation, textiles, food, automobiles, etc.
Application in the productive area
Contenido
Derivado de que todo proceso de fabricación y manufactura requiere de un control, la ingeniería de instrumentación y control de procesos tiene una aplicación en el sector productivo en las siguientes áreas: diseño y mantenimiento.
Design
Analyze and incorporate the basic measurement components, as well as control loops, in the engineering development process of a project for the manufacture, construction and/or modification of industrial plant parameters.
The instrumentation and process control engineer participates in the development of the technical specification sheets for the instruments that will integrate the control loops, as well as the control architecture, which will be used and review of the piping and instrumentation plans (D.T.I.), development of the control logic, which can be electronic, pneumatic or hydraulic.
Maintenance
Maintenance of measurement and control instruments components of the process control loops.
