Pocket Parks
Introduction
A pocket park is a small park accessible to the general public. Pocket parks are often created on vacant urban land or small irregular lots. They can also be created as a component of the public spatial requirement of large building projects.
Small parks can increase the value of homes around the park, as concluded by a study conducted in Greenville (South Carolina), South Carolina (United States).[1].

In Mexico City, there is a municipal program to create up to 150 pocket parks of 400m2 or less on vacant land or even on land that was part of a large intersection, such as Jardín Edith Sánchez Ramírez and the Pocket Parks of the Colonia Del Valle (Federal District) "Colonia Del Valle (Federal District)") [6].
