It allows a precise and clean cut of the external material of a cable to expose the internal conductive core so that it can be spliced with another or a connector can be placed. It is used by professionals in the areas of electricity and telecommunications, with several formats available on the market, each one appropriate to the type of cable used: electrical, network connections, coaxial, fiber optics.
This tool is essential[2] and greatly facilitates the work of the installation technician, since it allows the insulation to be removed without damaging the conductor, offering precision, speed, and cable savings in the installation.
