Parametric Design Standards
Introduction
Allplan is a parametric 2D/3D computer-aided design BIM software for architecture and engineering (BIM), developed by the company ALLPLAN of the NEMETSCHEK Group. It works under the Windows operating system, although it was born under the Unix platform.
Initially, the software was an internal solution from an engineering firm in Munich, Germany, led by Professor Nemetschek, which was subsequently improved and adapted to what we have today. A BIM software for Architecture, Engineering and Construction Companies.
Allplan uses the BIM work methodology and is integrated into an open system of solutions for architectural and engineering design, for cost management and facility management, being able to coordinate a BIM model with platforms such as bim+ with which they connect with other software and platforms.
Meets needs such as:
The program consists of the following modules all integrated into the same platform:
Since its inception, the program integrates collaborative work with a centralized service (what is now known as BIM work) and automated project exchange, libraries (textures, symbols...). It also manages many project attributes that allow the information of a project to be centralized, shared, manage various classifications, automatically fill in the fields.
Interface
The interface follows Windows customization standards (toolbar, keyboard shortcuts...) You have the possibility of using wizards, which are customizable graphic windows in which construction elements are inserted (walls, doors, pillars, beams...) that are very frequently used according to each office or even according to the type of project; Its use is simple and productive: if we want to draw a wall according to the standards that we have customized, just click on the wall in the wizard; that we want a previously determined window, we will click on the window element of the wizard.
Communication with other software
The software can import the formats:.
All bitmap formats: *.bmp, *.jpg, *.gif, *.psd, *.png, *.tif, *.tga...
The software can export to the formats:.
