Other Machines for the Agri-Food Industry
Introduction
Industrial machines are devices that are used in the industry subsector. Most machinery manufacturers are called machine factories.
The machinery industry came into existence during the industrial revolution. At the beginning of the century several automobile and motorcycle manufacturers started their own machine factories.[1][2].
The term "machinery industry" extended into the 19th century. This branch of the industry was recognized as such, and it was investigated that there was a production statistic dating back to 1907, created by the British Ministry of Trade and Industry. In this statistic of the engineering industry, for example, agricultural machinery, machinery for the textile industry, parts for trains and trams, among others, stand out.[3] They can also be used in very complicated stations.

Contenido
La industria maquinaria abarca una gran variedad de máquinas que se utilizan en varios sectores, entre ellos, el agrícola, la industria alimentaria, industria automotriz, extracción selectiva de materiales (minería), entre muchos otros.
Germany
In Germany, around 900,000 people worked in the machinery industry in 2011 and around 300,000 abroad.[4] The combined turnover of the sector was 238 billion euros, of which 60% came from exports. There were around 6,600 active businesses and 95% of those businesses employed fewer than 500 people. Each employee generated an average of 148,000 euros. Some of the largest companies in Germany are DMG, Mori Seiki AG, GEA Group, Siemens AG and ThyssenKrupp.
France
In 2009, the French machinery industry employed around 650,000 people and the sector generated a turnover of 44 billion euros. Due to the crisis, the sector's turnover fell by 15 percent. Due to increased consumer spending and continued demand from the energy sector and transportation sectors, the damage from the crisis was still limited.[5] Alternatively, some companies decided to focus their application on used industrial equipment. This guarantees attractive prices and better delivery times.[6].
