Introduction
The Land Law of the Region of Murcia, refers to several legislative texts, currently repealed since May 6, 2015.
Law of 2001
Law 1/2001, of April 24, on the Land of the Region of Murcia and its amendment regulations:[1].
• - In 2002, by Law 2/2002, of May 10.
• - In 2004, by Law 2/2004, of May 24.
In turn, said Law 1/2001 repealed:
• - Law for the Protection and Harmonization of Uses of the Mar Menor (Law 3/1987, of April 23).
• - Law on Modification of the Powers of the Bodies of the Autonomous Community in the Matter of Urban Planning") (Law 10/1995, of April 24).
• - Some articles of the Law on the Planning and Protection of the Territory of the Region of Murcia") (Law 4/1992, of July 30).
• - Law on Measures for the Protection of Urban Legality in the Region of Murcia") (Law 12/1986, of December 20).
Legislative Decree of 2005
The Land Law of 2005 was a consolidated text of the Region of Murcia, approved by Legislative Decree (Legislative Decree 1/2005, of June 10), repealed by Law of territorial and urban planning of the Region of Murcia (Law 13/2015, of March 30, known as LOTURM), on May 6, 2015.[2].
The Legislative Decree of 2005 repealed the 2001 Law and its amending regulations.
The references made in this article to the Land Law refer to the Legislative Decree of 2005.
Implementation of Planning Instruments in the Region of Murcia
Of the 45 municipalities of the Region of Murcia, as of March 31, 2010, 28 of them had a general planning instrument, with subsidiary regulations, a total of 17 municipalities. Twenty-one general plans have been approved according to the land law of the Region of Murcia, five general plans according to the land law of 1975, one general plan according to the land law of 1992, and another general plan according to the 1998 land law.
