Introduction
The Mataronés Area or Mataró Urban Area, is located within the urban region of Barcelona.
Mataronés Area
It is a subdivision of the region based on the towns that have the most attraction to the city. The towns have in common that they are all part of zone 3E of the ATM Barcelona; The cost of transportation between these towns is €1.45 (in 2011), both through Renfe and through bus companies.
