Metallic Curtains
Introduction
Metal curtains or Metal blinds are the most used security elements currently on the market to provide protection to business premises or companies that have access from the street. Metal blinds, also known as metal roller blinds, protect premises from theft, vandalism and accidents. As their name suggests, they are made of galvanized metal plates bolted together. There are different types of roller metal curtains, such as the following: motorized and manual metal curtains, smooth fabric and micro-perforated metal curtains, metal curtains with double ribs and American meshes.
Types of metal curtains
Depending on the type of fabric, we have the following types of metal curtains:.
- Smooth fabric metal curtains: these are curtains whose fabric is made up of completely smooth galvanized sheets or plates.
- Metal curtains made of micro-perforated fabric: these are curtains whose fabric is made up of galvanized sheets or plates with perforations.
- Double nerve fabric metal curtains: these are curtains whose fabric is made up of more resistant galvanized sheets or plates.
According to the degree of automation, we have the following:.
- Motorized metal curtains: these are curtains that are operated with an electric motor. They can be side-engined or mid-engined.
- Manual metal curtains: these are those curtains that can only be operated manually.
Components
The main components of metal blinds are the following:.
