ISO 19011 Audit
Introduction
ISO 19011 Guidelines for the audit of management systems is an international standard developed by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), which establishes guidelines for the audit of quality management systems. The last revision of the standard was in July 2018 (ISO 19011:2018).
It was originally published in 1990 as ISO 10011-1 and in 2002 it took the current ISO 19011 numbering.
This International Standard provides guidance on the auditing of management systems, including the principles of auditing, managing an audit program and conducting management systems audits, as well as guidance on assessing the competence of individuals participating in the audit process.[1].
