Introduction
Peyber Hispania is a family group of companies positioned in the construction and real estate development sectors, to which are added the new business lines of environment and concessions, and international expansion towards countries in Central and Eastern Europe, initiated with the AVANTIA Project in Romania.
The Peyber Group is among the 500 companies that create the most jobs in Europe, according to the ranking prepared by Europe's 500 - Entrepreneurs for Growth (2006 edition),[1] non-profit association supported, among others, by Microsoft and KPMG. The company went from having 87 employees on staff in 2002 to more than 200 in 2005, which represents an increase of 246%. It occupies position 108 in the ranking. It now has more than 300 employees.
In December 2008, the Peyber Group obtained Quality, Occupational Health and Safety Management and Environmental Management certifications from the certification body BSI (British Standard Institution) Spain, according to the UNE-EN ISO 9001: 2000, OHSAS 18001: 2007 and UNE-EN ISO 14001: 2004 Standards.[2].
