The Aseguradora del Valle Building is an office tower located in the center of Bogotá. It measures 74.44 m, has 20 floors and was inaugurated in 1972.[1]​.

The building has the shape of a parallelepiped and is located on an elongated lot in a north-south direction. The property is parallel to Carrera Décima and is located between 25th Street and 26th Avenue "Avenida Eldorado (Bogotá)").[2]​.

On its northern side is the La Rebeca square, the iconic sculpture that adorned Centenario Park, which was destroyed to lay out 26th Avenue and Décima Race.

It was designed by Roberto Gavanzo Moros, Fernando García Cortes, Bernardo Posse Paredes and the firm ARK.[2]​ The construction was carried out in 1972 in reinforced concrete and was carried out by Martínez Gómez and ARK.[2]​ The first two floors are occupied by commercial premises.[2]​.

It is characterized by its particular rolling shape. This is due to the setbacks on all the floors on the north side, which combine into a curved façade that is among the most recognizable in the city.[1]​ Its façades alternate black and white horizontal stripes, which correspond to its dark safety glass and the white bush-hammered stone that constitutes its covering.[2]​

The subcontracting firm for the construction of the structure was Copre Triana Vargas Roche Ltd, whose resident engineer was Francisco Gómez Barriga, a civil engineer who graduated from the National University of Colombia in December 1968. The foundation of the building consists of "caissons" built by hand in progressive sections that will go into the subsoil through concentric rings of concrete until reaching the foundation soil.
