Types of Industrial Pumps
Centrifugal pumps

Positive displacement pumps
Positive displacement pumps work by trapping a fixed volume of fluid and moving it through the pump using a reciprocating or rotary motion mechanism. This type of pump is ideal for viscous liquids, mixtures with solids and applications that require a constant flow rate regardless of pressure.
These include piston, screw, diaphragm and gear pumps. Each one has specific characteristics that make them suitable for industries such as chemicals, oil, pharmaceuticals and food, where precision in pumping is crucial.
