Industrial kettles
Definition and introduction
Basic concept of industrial kettles
Industrial kettles are large capacity containers designed for cooking, heating or preparing food on an industrial scale. These units allow large quantities of products to be processed, facilitating efficiency and uniformity in food production, especially in sectors such as hospitality, catering, and the processed food industry.
They are characterized by their robust construction, generally made of stainless steel, which guarantees durability and resistance to corrosion. In addition, they are equipped with heating systems that can be direct, indirect or pressure, depending on the type of process and product to be produced.
Types of industrial kettles
Fixed kettles
Fixed kettles are permanently installed in a specific location within the production plant. They are ideal for processes that require large volume and continuity, since their capacity and heating system are adapted for intensive use. Their structure is robust and they usually have automatic systems to facilitate operation.
These kettles can be round or square, and are designed to optimize heat transfer and ease of cleaning. Its use is common in industrial kitchens and processing plants where homogeneous products are produced in large batches.
Mobile or portable kettles
Mobile kettles are mounted on wheels or structures that allow them to move within the work area. They are useful for operations that require flexibility and versatility, such as catering or production in different areas of the same plant.
Although their capacity is usually smaller compared to fixed ones, their design facilitates handling and transportation, maintaining adequate efficiency in cooking and heating food.
