Industrial Floors
Introduction
An industrial floor is a surface designed to withstand rough uses and physical or chemical attacks that a floor under normal conditions would not withstand.
They are dry "Mortar (construction)") mortars that are mixed with liquid additives that form a coating whose purpose is to protect the surface, whether concrete or metal, its basic components are polyurethane resins, water and cement.
Uses
Mainly to cover:.
Materials
Depending on the materials with which it is manufactured determines its chemical resistance.
Coating Application
The components must be mixed in a mixer following the manufacturer's instructions. Typically each component is poured separately into the mixer slowly and in a specific order. Mixing and drying time may vary depending on the quality of the product used. It is very important that other foreign components are not added in order to increase the resistance since this will only reduce it considerably or, in the worst case, ruin the coating.
The application is first carried out directly from the mixer, then a finish is given with a roller and a trowel; The use of the trowel should be moderate since if it is exceeded, the floor may lose its anti-slip properties.
