Horizontal signage
Introduction
The road markings (also pavement markings) are intended to regulate circulation and warn or guide road users, and can be used alone or with other means of signaling, in order to reinforce or specify their indications.[1].

Symbols and arrows
They are used both to guide and warn the user and to regulate circulation. They are classified into arrows, lines and other symbols.
Other demarcations
There are also other road markings, such as: markings, demarcation of divergent and convergent traffic, demarcation
approach to obstacles, not blocking crossings, segregated bus lanes, bus stops, parking,
priority track emergency vehicles, etc.
Floor markings are also used to mark internal routes in production plants and warehouses to increase workplace safety.[2].
