Heritage routes
Introduction
Heritage Circuits[1] is an initiative that was created in 2009, in a collaboration between the Chile Patrimonial Foundation and the Council of National Monuments. As part of the initiative, different routes were developed around buildings and places with heritage value. The first stage began with the creation of a website and the printing of a brochure that was distributed in May 2010, for the «Cultural Heritage Day "Cultural Heritage Day (Chile)")». The second stage had the support of FONDART, in which the contents developed in the first stage were deepened.[1].
The route established through Heritage Circuits, in the case of the route in Santiago Centro, overlaps with the route generated by the Santiago Heritage initiative, generating an overlap of both initiatives.
