Hydraulic grippers use fluid pressure to activate their gripping mechanisms. They are the most common in construction due to their high strength and precision in controlling movement. They are composed of hydraulic cylinders that activate the jaws or claws, allowing a firm and secure grip.
Its design can vary to adapt to different types of loads: from clamps with claws for handling logs and wood, to specific models for concrete blocks or recyclable materials. Hydraulics also offer the advantage of smooth and constant movement, minimizing damage to the materials handled.
