Introduction

In late 2006 and early 2007, the company installed solar panels on various roofs of the facilities, capable of producing 1.6 MW (2,175 HP) of electricity through solar photovoltaic energy. At the time of its installation, it was one of the largest facilities in the country. About 30% of Googleplex's electricity needs are met by this project.[3].
Location
Googleplex is located between Charleston Road, Amphitheater Parkway, and Waterfront Boulevard in North Mountain View, near Wetlands (Waterfront Park).
