Global Heritage Convention

Introduction

The Convention on the Protection of the World Cultural and Natural Heritage[1] was adopted by the general conference of UNESCO at its XVII meeting held in Paris on November 16, 1972. Since then, 191 countries have ratified the convention.[2].
