Gazebo architecture
Introduction
A gazebo, cenadero or gazebo is a pavilion located in the garden, generally round, fenced and usually covered with climbing plants. It can also be called a gallery, pavilion, market hall, canopy, pergola and arbor, among others.
Lightweight and resistant construction at the same time has to preserve the character of the site in which it is placed. In view of everyone, it must be perfectly hidden from view and as if forming a group, a bed of vegetables that blends in with other similar ones. In small gardens, the gazebo is the main element and should be placed in the middle. In parks, in important gardens, places with the thickest foliage must be chosen, away from the main roads and isolated from the promenades.[1].
Guys
The plan of the gazebos is usually circular or regular polygonal, rarely square, and their dimensions should not exceed 3 to 4 meters in diameter, with a height of the doors for the passage of a man of medium height and the interior, in the dome, no more than three meters. The interior furniture of a gazebo consists of several rustic and comfortable benches, a table, also rustic in the center, seats that are hinged on the posts and a garden lamp in the center.[1] When the gazebo has a hexagonal, octagonal or circular cover, it is usually known as a gazebo.
Materials
The most common gazebos are made of wood:
