Gas leak detection system
Introduction
A gas detector is a device that detects the presence of gas in the air, which makes it possible to recognize a gas leak.
Operation
Starting at a certain gas concentration, the detector emits an optical-acoustic (visual and audible) warning signal.
Additionally, Type B and Type A detectors can operate an automatic gas shut-off system. The automatic gas cut-off is a system that closes its supply upon receiving a certain signal from a gas detector, an alarm center or any other planned device, with the reopening of the supply being only possible after this by manual reset.[1].
