Face brick
Introduction
Faced brick, also known as exposed brick, is that which is manufactured to be placed without coating both outside and inside the building. Of different sizes and colors depending on the materials and additives used, it can have a decorative function in addition to its structural function. They are characterized by having three of their faces (one edge or two heads) especially smooth and presentable, since they are the faces that remain visible once placed.
It is a material that is resistant to the passage of time and very low maintenance, which in turn has good acoustic insulation properties due to its high mass. Current technology allows the manufacture of large facing brick panels, which are manufactured in the workshop and assembled on site with the use of lifting machinery.
