Mega Constructions (in English: Extreme Engineering) is a documentary television series broadcast by Discovery Channel and The Science Channel. The program focuses on global architecture and engineering projects. The show has been presented by Danny Forster") since the fourth series.
Origins of the program
Engineering the Impossible was a two-hour special program created and written by Alan Lindgren and produced by Powderhouse Productions for Discovery Chanel. It focused on three major projects, the Gibraltar Bridge, the Freedom Ship and the Millennium Tower. This show won the Beijing International Festival Silver Award and was Discovery's second show watched by audiences. After the success of that program, Discovery ordered Powderhouse to produce the first season of Mega Constructions divided into ten parts, all episodes were written by Alan Lindgren"), Ed Fields") and several scriptwriters and producers from the production company. As in Engineering the Impossible, the first season focuses on future construction events. In the second season, programs began to be carried out around the world.
