The risk of getting sunburned is greater during these times. Some commonly used medications, such as nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), antihistamines, tetracycline, thiazides, sulfa-based antibiotics, and diuretics, increase sensitivity to sunlight and cause skin rashes and sunburn.
