Evaporation units
Introduction
The evaporation unit is equipment used in the chemical industry for the concentration of aqueous solutions.
The operating method of the equipment is to raise the temperature of the aqueous solution to the boiling temperature of the solvent, there the temperature is kept constant and the energy applied to the system will only be that of the latent heat of vaporization.
The kinetics indicate that the longer the equipment is operational, the aqueous solution will become more concentrated.
If the solution becomes saturated, its solute can deposit, generating crystals.
