New for 2002 is the same power unit found in the 1995 SL 73 AMG. This is one of the largest V12s ever used in a road car. The most notable fact behind the Zonda is that as a newcomer to the supercar market, it still competes with Ferrari and Porsche. The Ferrari Enzo has benefited from fifty years of Ferrari racing, while the Pagani is completely new. The Zonda F was presented at the 2008 Geneva Motor Show as the evolution of the Zonda C12 S 7.3. It was an update that kept the model up to date with market demands. As a curiosity, it should be noted that the letter F of the name derives from "Fangio", the surname of the famous pilot Juan Manuel Fangio, for whom Horacio Pagani feels deep admiration. The model's power was increased by 47 HP (34.6 kW), thus placing it at 602 HP (594 HP; 443 kW). Tricolor Zonda

The entire body is made of carbon fiber, from the first to the last piece, another detail that tells us that it is an authentic racing car.

The dark color of the body creates a perfect combination with the golden alloy wheels shod with Pirelli slicks specially developed for this car. And a thin adhesive line simulating the Italian flag runs along the top of the body from back to front: green at the front, white in the middle and red at the back.

A small plastic window like in a racing car reveals an interior that combines the racing look with the typical details of a super-luxury sports car.

The steering wheel is beautiful, it has the rev counter in the center of the rim and the buttons are arranged on the two side spokes. Behind the wheel, an electronic screen provides the rest of the data necessary to get the most out of the Zonda R on the track.

After several limited farewell editions and the Zonda R, Pagani decided to put an end to the model with a special version called Revolution, an evolution of the Zonda R.

The body is of the monocoque type and is constructed of carbon fiber and titanium, to keep the weight not exceeding 1,070 kg (2,359 lb). The engine comes from Mercedes-AMG and is an evolution of the Zonda R engine. The 5,987 cm³ (6 liter) V12 develops a maximum power of 800 HP (789 HP; 588 kW), that is, 50 HP (36.8 kW) more than the Zonda R and a maximum torque of 730 N·m (538 lb·ft), resulting in a weight-to-power ratio of 748 HP (738 HP; 550 kW) per ton. The gearbox responsible for transmitting all that force to the rear wheels is a 6-speed sequential transmission that changes between gears in 20 milliseconds.

To support the large amount of torque generated by the engine, Pagani has made the drive shaft in titanium. That is why it has a traction control system developed by Bosch with 12 different settings, an ABS braking system that is completed with CCMR discs from the Brembo brand with technology similar to that used in F1. The DRS system that they have included in this evolution is extracted from that same sport. The vehicle's aerodynamics have also been revised, adding new deflectors and a new rear spoiler.

The Zonda Revolución can only be enjoyed on the circuit, since it is not approved for driving on roads open to traffic. The Zonda Revolución, like all Pagani excellences, are handmade in Atelier in San Cesario sul Panaro. Only five units were manufactured at a price plus taxes.[15][16]​.

Zonda HP Barchetta

The Zonda was officially discontinued to be replaced by the Pagani Huayra, although Pagani has continued to manufacture its first supercar for the brand's most special customers in the form of One-Off. It has a 750 HP (740 HP; 552 kW) Mercedes-AMG V12 that is supported by titanium tubes, while its structure is almost entirely made of carbon fiber with titanium threads to increase its resistance; This makes it weigh 1070 kg (2359 lb) which helps it go from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in only 2.7 seconds, a figure surpassed by some very exclusive sports cars such as the Bugatti Veyron. Its maximum speed is 369 km/h (229 mph), although track demands may modify this, so a maximum speed of 390 km/h (242 mph) is calculated if conditions are suitable. Proof of this was the result it showed in a test on the famous Nürburgring track with a time of 6 minutes 47.553 seconds in the category of "cars derived from the production model."

The rear spoiler is gigantic, as is the air diffuser in the lower part of the rear. The four exhausts located in a central position and surrounded by an oval profile that differentiates it from the rest of the Zonda versions, impresses from the first moment and promises a truly impressive sound.

The entire body is made of carbon fiber, from the first to the last piece, another detail that tells us that it is an authentic racing car.

The dark color of the body creates a perfect combination with the golden alloy wheels shod with Pirelli slicks specially developed for this car. And a thin adhesive line simulating the Italian flag runs along the top of the body from back to front: green at the front, white in the middle and red at the back.

A small plastic window like in a racing car reveals an interior that combines the racing look with the typical details of a super-luxury sports car.

The steering wheel is beautiful, it has the rev counter in the center of the rim and the buttons are arranged on the two side spokes. Behind the wheel, an electronic screen provides the rest of the data necessary to get the most out of the Zonda R on the track.

The floor of the car does not have any type of luxuries or refinements, you are sitting on a carbon fiber back seat, anchored to the carbon fiber floor and with a carbon fiber dashboard full of switches.[14]​.

Zonda Revolución

After several limited farewell editions and the Zonda R, Pagani decided to put an end to the model with a special version called Revolution, an evolution of the Zonda R.

The body is of the monocoque type and is constructed of carbon fiber and titanium, to keep the weight not exceeding 1,070 kg (2,359 lb). The engine comes from Mercedes-AMG and is an evolution of the Zonda R engine. The 5,987 cm³ (6 liter) V12 develops a maximum power of 800 HP (789 HP; 588 kW), that is, 50 HP (36.8 kW) more than the Zonda R and a maximum torque of 730 N·m (538 lb·ft), resulting in a weight-to-power ratio of 748 HP (738 HP; 550 kW) per ton. The gearbox responsible for transmitting all that force to the rear wheels is a 6-speed sequential transmission that changes between gears in 20 milliseconds.

To support the large amount of torque generated by the engine, Pagani has made the drive shaft in titanium. That is why it has a traction control system developed by Bosch with 12 different settings, an ABS braking system that is completed with CCMR discs from the Brembo brand with technology similar to that used in F1. The DRS system that they have included in this evolution is extracted from that same sport. The vehicle's aerodynamics have also been revised, adding new deflectors and a new rear spoiler.

The Zonda Revolución can only be enjoyed on the circuit, since it is not approved for driving on roads open to traffic. The Zonda Revolución, like all Pagani excellences, are handmade in Atelier in San Cesario sul Panaro. Only five units were manufactured at a price plus taxes.[15][16]​.

Zonda HP Barchetta

The Zonda was officially discontinued to be replaced by the Pagani Huayra, although Pagani has continued to manufacture its first supercar for the brand's most special customers in the form of One-Off. This unique program adds the umpteenth iteration of the Zonda as a whim of Horacio Pagani himself and in a limited edition of only three units at one price each and serving as a true end point to the Zonda saga, as the manufacturer implied in its presentation at Pebble Beach in 2017.

The Zonda HP Barchetta boasts the first Barchetta or Speedster body seen at Pagani. This model is possibly the most special of the Zondas manufactured with countless unique details and elements acquired from other models in the Zonda and Huayra family, which makes it a unique car due to its design and conception.

The acronym HP has no other explanation than to honor the specification carried out by Horacio Pagani, but this seal could hide even more secrets and that is that in addition to its characteristic design touches, the setup and technical set would also be very different from the rest of the Zonda manufactured. Horacio Pagani wanted to make a truly unique car, taking elements seen throughout his career as a manufacturer.

In its exterior design, it is worth highlighting the adoption of a cut windshield, a raised engine air intake, 20-inch (50.8 cm) and 21-inch (53.3 cm) wheels inspired by the new Pagani Huayra Roadster, blue carbon fiber bodywork, aerodynamic accessories taken from the Zonda Cinque and Fantasma Evo or semi-faired rear wheel arches like the Zonda ZoZo.[17]​.

It has a 7,291 cm³ (7.3 L; 444.9 in³) engine with a maximum power of 800 HP (789 HP; 588 kW) and a maximum torque of 850 N·m (627 lb·ft), 380 mm (15.0 in) ventilated carbon-ceramic disc brakes and adjustable Öhlins shock absorbers.[18]​.
