Evaluation of fiber reinforcements
Introduction
The Pagani Zonda is a super sports car produced by the Italian manufacturer Pagani Automobili S.p.A. from 1999 to 2017. Approximately ten units were produced per year. It is a car with a mid-rear engine and a two-seat coupe or Roadster body "Square (vehicle)"). The construction material is mainly carbon fiber.
History
Some engineering principles of the Zonda were carried out by Formula 1 champion driver Juan Manuel Fangio. This model was originally going to be called "Fangio F1", but after Fangio's death in 1995 it was called Zonda, in honor of a dry and warm wind characteristic of the Andean area of western Argentina.[4].
Prior to the presentation of the Zonda, its designer Horacio Pagani "Horacio Pagani (businessman)"),[5] had worked as a builder on projects such as the Lamborghini Countach Evoluzione and as a designer on the P140 and the Lamborghini Diablo.
Horacio Pagani came to Lamborghini recommended by Juan Manuel Fangio. While working for Lamborghini, he conceived his personal dream: to design and build his own sports car.
A notable fact is that the Zonda satisfactorily passes each of the 36 safety evaluations previously carried out for manufacturing and marketing.
The dynamic behavior of the vehicle is excellent and the track tests carried out by experts highlight it compared to other supercars.
Equipment
The Zonda's equipment has all the necessary elements and comfort standards. Some details are: central locking and electric window control, electric suspension control, electrically operated mirrors, automatic climate control, CD player and a quad exhaust "Exhaust System (Engine)"). To clearly mark that this is a sports car with a certain touch of luxury, owners receive with each example a set of Schedoni leather suitcases and shoes that match the interior of the car.
