Entrepreneurship management
Introduction
The creation of a company is the activity of bringing together several factors of production under a legal personality to offer goods or services "Service (economy)") in the market in exchange for economic benefits.
A closely related concept is entrepreneurship, which has a very detailed page on Wikipedia, although focused on the figure of the entrepreneur, his psychology and the history of the concept. This business creation page focuses on the legal act of creating a company (also called setting up a business, opening a business, setting up a business, establishing a business and undertaking) and the existing aid for this purpose. Entrepreneurship has more to do with managing the company created and making it prosper.
Many companies are created by a person who did not have any other company before. It is also possible for a person who owns a company to create another, maintaining the first, or to request the extinction of the first company at the Commercial Registry and work only with the new one. Likewise, companies can create other companies, for legal purposes (open new lines of business, segregate activities...) or illicit purposes (evade obligations, evade taxes... see Ghost company, which should not be confused with zombie company).
A company is a legal entity that can initially adopt different modalities (self-employed worker, limited company, public limited company, community of property...), according to the convenience of the entrepreneur (the person who creates the company), the type of business and the applicable regulations. Legislation, which varies greatly in this regard depending on the country, usually allows the change of modality during the life of the company. In Spain there were up to 17 modalities in February 2021.[1].
When talking about business creation as an economic magnitude, on the same level as gross domestic product (GDP) or inflation, reference is made to the number of companies created during a period in a territory. The increase in this number compared to the same period of the previous year is considered an indicator of economic growth.[2] And vice versaː its decrease is seen as an indication of lower growth[3] or recession.
