Environmental Qualification Request

If we are dealing with an activity that is included in ANNEX I of the GICA Law (Integrated Environmental Quality Management), the Environmental Qualification must be requested before the beginning of the works, presenting the Project in the General Registry and waiting up to 3 months for the response from the Environmental Protection Service of the City Council. If this time passes without notification, the Qualification by Administrative Silence may be considered granted.

Application for Works License.

In cases where expansion works are carried out, the project documentation must be submitted to the Auxiliary Registry for application (if the activity was qualified, we must have administrative silence or Qualification granted). Depending on the nature of the works, you will have to wait more or less time, as will the documentation to be delivered, which will vary in proportion to the type and size of the work.

Renovations in the premises

You should know that associated works that are considered Minor or Partial Renovation do not require a visa. Thus, in principle, the Minor Reform must be granted instantly by Responsible Declaration, but the Partial Reform will require a Full Government Meeting which, with exceptions, is every 20 days. However, if the building is framed within the Historic Complex, the process is directly by License, which implies a wait of at least 2 months.

Documentation Delivery

At the end of the works, the project, the final certificate of works, the final certificate of installations, the positive report from the OCA, the acoustic testing report and all the forms required by the Environmental Protection Service that the city council of Seville deems must be delivered. To these certificates it will be necessary to add all those that the activity implies, that is, certificate of all the facilities that require it, registration in the local industry, machinery and installations, certificate of the fire protection installation, as well as registration in other institutions if necessary (health, education, etc.). If it were not necessary to carry out works, practically the same documentation would be delivered except for the final certificate of works.
