electric tower
Introduction
An electrical tower or electrical support (sometimes called a turret) is a high-rise structure, usually constructed as a steel electrical lattice or light pole. They are used both in high and low voltage electrical distribution and in direct current systems such as railway traction. They can have a wide variety of shapes and sizes depending on the use and voltage of the energy transported. Normal height ranges range from 15 m to 55 m, although sometimes they can exceed 300 m.[1] In addition to steel, other materials such as concrete and wood can be used.
