Dynamic Signage (LED)
Introduction
digital signage (digital signage in English), known as dynamic digital signage, multimedia digital signage or digital signage, is the use of digital content emitted through screens such as LCD monitors, plasma screens, an LED panel or projectors (Projector).
This technology increasingly replaces traditional posters to improve the presentation and sales promotion of products, to display information or even to facilitate interaction with the content.
In addition to presenting content dynamically instead of statically, it allows the creation of a network of audiovisual systems with daily updated content. To use these systems, a combination of hardware, special software for the player and content management, Internet connection or other technology that allows remote updating, such as 3G, is used.
Application
There is a wide range of possible applications for both interior use (in English indoor) and exterior use (in English outdoor). Inside companies, stores, large stores, shopping centers, at the point of sale (in English, point of sale) to draw the attention of the customer "Customer (economy)"), captivate the consumer with dynamic content or to improve communication between company (brand) and consumer.
Outdoor use is almost always related to the “Out-of-Home-Media” advertising concept whose success is based on the great impact due to:.
The technology allows for accurate and more effective planning of advertising campaigns, since the content can be adapted (or is automatically adapted) to the target group. Furthermore, the combination of interesting content (news, local agenda, videos, advertisements) guarantees high attention and acceptance by consumers.
A typical application would be a network of screens for franchises (e.g. a supermarket). The management and distribution of the content that appears on the screens of each branch is carried out from the headquarters. All screens can display the same or different content. Compared to traditional signage (in English paper signage), the long-term economic cost could be lower, since paper printing is saved, although on the other hand there is constant consumption of electricity for its operation. An obvious advantage is that the digital signage system allows you to react more flexibly to the needs of each business.
