Downspouts
Introduction
Downspout, or downspout,[1] is the channel or pipe through which water descends from the roofs or terraces "Terrace (architecture)").
Characteristics
They are usually made of zinc or iron and are attached to the walls by means of collars with pins, embedded in the factory or with wire ties held by iron forks. In the upper part, which fits with the canal "Canal (engineering)"), they usually widen in the form of a cover, to better collect the water and at the bottom they drain onto the sidewalks, into the stream, beneath them or into the drain, a system that is becoming established in large towns.
