The Maputo Corridor or Maputo Corridor, is a major trade corridor connecting the Gauteng, Limpopo and Mpumalanga provinces of South Africa with Maputo, which is a port and the capital of Mozambique.

The corridor comprises roads - including the new N4 highway - and railways, ports and border facilities in Komatipoort[1]​ that connect the industrial areas around Gauteng and the mining and agricultural districts to the east, with the ports on the Mozambican coast. Maputo and Matola are both deep water ports.

Transportation organizations and border control agencies are cooperating to improve transportation and reduce barriers to trade.[2]​.

The corridor was first planned in 1994, as a project to rehabilitate disused transportation routes.[3] Since then, the project has expanded, new actors have been involved, and more than $5 billion has been invested.
