Dangerous chemical storage regulations
Introduction
NOM-005-STPS is an official Mexican standard of the Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare relating to the safety and hygiene conditions that must prevail in all workplaces within Mexican territory where activities involving the handling, transportation and storage of dangerous chemical substances are carried out. The latest version of this standard dates back to February 2, 1999, when it was published in the Official Gazette of the Federation, thus remaining the standard as NOM-005-STPS-1998.[1].
