Construction Magazines
Introduction
Construction Reports is a scientific magazine of architecture and engineering edited by the Eduardo Torroja Institute of Construction Sciences of the Higher Council for Scientific Research.
History
Founded in 1948,[1][2] it was a key publication in the dissemination of avant-garde architecture in Spain.[3] Until its 140th issue in 1962, it lacked pagination.[4] The magazine became one of the most important communicators of international architecture. In its pages an editorial preference for North American examples was expressed, although it also presented examples of Latin American architecture.[5].
Starting in 1981, it began to adapt to the regulations for periodical publications of the Higher Center for Scientific Research.[6] Later in the century it was opened to Open Journal Systems.[7].
