• - Productive project: These are projects that seek to generate economic profitability and obtain monetary profits. The promoters of these projects are usually companies and individuals interested in achieving economic benefits for different purposes.

• - Public project: These are those that seek to achieve an impact on the quality of life of the population, which are not necessarily expressed in money. The promoters of these projects are the state, multilateral organizations, NGOs (non-governmental organization) and also companies, in their social responsibility policies.

• - Social investment projects: these are projects that seek to contribute to improving the quality of life of people facing a problematic situation. These projects can be carried out with public or private financing. In the public sphere, they occur through social programs, which are aimed at the most vulnerable sectors. On the other hand, in the private sector it occurs through non-governmental organizations, the same ones that work with populations that have work initiative. The impact of this type of projects is measured qualitatively and in the long term using cost measurement tools.

• - Life project: It represents, as a whole, “what the individual wants to be” and “what he is going to do” at certain moments in his life, as well as the possibilities of achieving it (D'Angelo, 1986).

• - Scientific project: The set of plans, ideas and actions that must be developed in a coordinated manner to achieve a goal is called a project, with scientific being an adjective that mentions its connection to science (the grouping of methods, procedures and techniques to generate objective knowledge).
