Circulation space
Introduction
A public road is any common domain space where pedestrians travel or vehicles circulate. Public roads are governed by international, national and local regulations in their construction, name, use and limitations; with the aim of preserving essential rights (to life, health, freedom, property, movement, etc.). Unlike private roads, which are regulated by their owners, both in their characteristics and accessibility.[1].
Classification
Each type of public road has specific characteristics regulated by law, which determines its location, accessibility and use.[2][3].
