These standards include minimum quality characteristics for materials, standardized testing and characterization processes for each key element, as well as appropriate geometries to fulfill their function. In order to verify compliance with these standards, there are certificates issued by entities such as AENOR where the results of audits and tests are collected. One of the conclusions of the standards, and therefore of the certificates, is the suitability of the scaffolding for a type of use, which is defined by a maximum use load and which is related to the work that can be carried out on it.
