Industrial carpets are manufactured from highly resistant and durable materials, such as polypropylene, nylon, polyester and rubber. These materials allow the carpet to withstand constant abrasion, contact with chemicals, and exposure to harsh environmental conditions.
In addition, the base or support is usually reinforced with rubber or vinyl to guarantee stability and prevent movement, which is essential in spaces where the traffic of people and machinery is intense and continuous.
The selection of the material depends on the specific use and the industrial environment, for example, in sectors with electrical risk, carpets with antistatic properties are preferred, while in humid environments, carpets with high resistance to humidity and mold are used.
